The Safe Schools Project is in it's final stages of accepting a Rubrics Survey (students, parents, teachers, school site administrators and school district officials in Santa Cruz County) on how well local schools are protecting students. In 2012, United Way will be part of the release of the important report that will give a snapshot of where we can improve local schools in creating a safer place to learn for all students, including our queer and straight ally youth.
